Aug 6- Hiroshima day

HIROSHIMA DAY

Hiroshima Day 2020 is on August 6, since the US dropped an atomic bomb in Hiroshima, Japan in 1945. People still remember the destruction and havoc created by such a severe impact, the radiation sickness it caused to the newer generations. Even after years of forming nuclear energy, there are still no safe ways to dispose of the contaminated sources. The day provides an opportunity to raise awareness about the threats associated with nuclear weapons and nuclear energy.

“We are still living in the aftershock of Hiroshima; people are still in the scars of history.”
